IATF(International Automotive Task Force)国际汽车工作组 是由世界上主要的汽车制造商及协会于1996年成立的一个专门机构。在和ISO9001：2000版标准结合的基础上，在ISO/TC176的认可下，制定出了ISO/TS16949 :2002 这个规范。2009年更新为：ISO/TS16949:2009.执行的最新标准为：IATF16949:2016.
